The Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday confirmed the appointments of Pascal Patrick and Toyin Ibitoye into the backroom crew of the Senior National Football Team, the Super Eagles.
Patrick, a former Nigeria international player, will resume as Team Coordinator, while Ibitoye, a frontline broadcast journalist, will become the team’s Media Officer.
Both appointments are with immediate effect.
Patrick, who is also vice chairman of the Bauchi State Football Association, replaces Emmanuel Attah, while Ibitoye, who has a postgraduate diploma in sports management from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, replaces Benjamin Alaiya, who has held the position since December 2011.
Godfirst Chike will also become the Equipment Manager, replacing Chidi Ngoka.
