Prof. Anya. O. Anya has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Committee on National Dialogue.
Anya is to replace Prof. Ben Nwabueze, who turned down his appointment as a member of the committee.
Anya’s appointment, according to a statement from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has been ratified by President Goodluck Jonathan.
The statement, signed by Anyim’s media aide, Sam Nwaobasi, said that Nwabueze is still abroad on health grounds.
Nwaobasi also added in the statement that Pius Olakunle Osunyikanmi has been appointed as the Director General/ Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Technical Aids Corps.
