A Medical Doctor, Dr. Okpe Casmir Ikechukwu, has been found dead dead in his Toyota car at Ichi Girls Secondary School Bus Stop in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The development came to the fore on October 12, 2022 following a video that went viral by a passerby.
The passerby was said to have spotted the lifeless body of Ikechukwu, made the video and released it, calling for the identification of the Medical Doctor.
The video showed his Identity Card and vehicle plate number: DX 138 LSD.
The Identity Card, with staff number: NAUTH/RES/199/97, also contained information that he was a Supernumerary Resident Doctor at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State.
The spokesman of the Anambra State Police Command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident.
Ikenga said: “A lot of mysteries are yet to be unraveled concerning the suspected murder case.”
