Nkechi, the mother of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party for the March 11, 2023 election in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has said that Lagos is only working in Ikoyi.
The mother of the candidate said this while campaigning for her son in a video obtained by The Eagle Online.
According to Nkechi, those who live in other parts of Lagos State also deserve to have good roads.
She said in Igbo: “When we were coming here, we had a difficult ride because the roads is bad.
“After, they will say that Lagos is working.
“Where is it working?
“Aside Ikoyi, Lagos is not working.
“People living in other places, paying their taxes are suffering.”
Nkechi then switched to Yoruba dialect.
She added: “Good day every one, God will continue to take us higher and higher.”
