The National Emergency Management Agency has released the casualty figures from the miscalculated airstrike by the Nigerian Army at Tudun Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The North West spokesperson of NEMA, Halima Suleiman, released the figures Tuesday to Channels Television.
According to the Zonal spokesperson of NEMA, 85 persons were killed in the airstrike, while 66 were injured in the bombing on Sunday.
She said the fatality figure was obtained from the local authorities after the burial of the victims on Monday.

“The Northwest Zonal Office has received details from the local authorities that 85 dead bodies have so far been buried while a search is still ongoing,” Suleiman said.
