Goals from Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheanacho were all the Super Eagles needed to thrash the Hawks of Togo 3-0 in an international friendly on Thursday at Stade Municipal de Saint Leu La Foret in Paris, France.
Just after three minutes from kick off, the Eagles opened scoring through Ahmed Musa, who tapped in the ball after Togo’s goalkeeper spilled Alex Iwobi’s cross.
Moments later, Musa netted his second goal on the night, with another assist off the boots of Iwobi.
Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho fired his third Eagles goal of this year in the 27th minute when he finished off after Oghenekaro Etebo intercepted a loose ball around the Togo goal area.
In a mostly dull second half, there were debuts for Wolfsburg youngster Victor Osimhen and Portugal-based goalkeeper Dele Alampasu.
Togo tried to chase the game and in their desperation Enyimba new signing Franco Atsou picked up one of two bookings for the Hawks.
Eagles are due in Abuja tomorrow from Paris.
