The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, said he is not sure whether Nigeria will be able to conduct election in 2023.
The RCCG Leader also called on all members to participate actively in the politics of the country, stressing that they were Nigerian first before they became Christians.
Pastor Adeboye made these disclosures at the monthly Thanksgiving of the Church in Ebute Meta, Lagos State.
The General Overseer added that he has told “everyone whether in secret or in the open that he will be the President of the country in 2023”.
Pastor Adeboye added that he did not belong to any political party, still, “would pray for anybody that comes to him that let the perfect will of God be done in his life”.
Pastor Adeboye urged his members to participate actively in the politics of the country because they were Nigerian first before they became Christians.
He said: “You are first a Nigerian before a Christian.
“You became a Christian after you were born.
“You must therefore perform your civic duties.
“Vote, defend your vote and play your part” Pastor Adeboye said.
