The Federal Road Safety Corps has warned that the indiscriminate dumping of refuse on roads could result in accidents and fatalities.
FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun State Anthony Uga, gave the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sango-Ota, on Monday.
Uga said that the warning had become necessary as such practice had become more rampant and endanger motorists plying the roads.

The Sector Commander said that the FRSC would partner with the Ogun State Environment Protection Agency (OSEPA) to monitor and bring offenders to book.
“We are going to discuss with OSEPA to ensure that the unwarranted practice by the public is put to a stop,” Uga said.
