Five expatriates have been kidnapped in Bayelsa State.
The expatriates were kidnapped aboard a vessel along the Sangana Waterways in Brass Local Government Area on Monday.
They are made up of two Sri Lankans, two Russians and a Myanmar.
The suspicion is that they were abducted by pirates, who will soon demand for ransom.
However, the Joint Task Force in the state and the Bayelsa State Police Command have deployed men and equipment to find the expatriates.
Over 20 gunboats are said to have been deployed in the bid to free the expatriates and arrest their abductors.
