An explosive was on Monday defused by the Police Anti-Bomb Squad in Niger State.
The Improvised Explosive Device used for the explosive was discovered at the Abdulsalami Abubakar Motor Park in Minna, the Niger State capital.
Reports had it that a passerby spotted the polythene bag in which the IED was concealed and raised the alarm.
The Police anti-Bomb Squad was immediately called in to defuse the explosive.
The chaos that followed the discovery led to heavy vehicular and human traffic in the area.
