The three months Africa’s reality TV show, Big Brother Africa Season 8, tagged The Chase, has ended, with Namibia’s representative, Dillish, as the winner of the 2013 edition of the reality game show.
Dillish, the Windhoek born and 300 level Psychology student, will be going home with the coveted prize of $300000.
First to be evicted was Nigeria’s female contestant, Beverly, among the five finalists.
The young model got the 24th ‘boot’.
Though she was so confident that she would win, following her display in the house, but was given a shocker by Africa.
Nigeria’s second contestant, Melvin, became the 25th house mate to be evicted.
Melvin was sent packing shortly after his compatriot, Beverly, had been earlier booted out.
Melvin has had a great run on the show and became the most decorated Head of the House in this season.
After the eviction of two Nigerians, Beverly and Melvin, another housemate that hit the chopping board was Ghana’s Elkem.
He may not be walking home with the grand prize but the young housemate managed to bag himself with a coveted title of the most Romantic Gesture for his breakfast in bed for Pokello.
This means that the Ghana fashion designer is walking away with an amazing holiday package valued at $10.000.
Sexy Zambian, Cleo, took the second position after she was evicted, leaving Dillish as the winner.
Cleo looked so disappointed because she almost won the money.
Cleo, was, however, given a surprise.
It all happened when her lover, Hakeem, stepped on stage.
The two lovebirds did hug each other, given that they had spent weeks with each other in the house.

Dilish is from Namibia.
With her emergence as winner, Dilish is to go home with $300,000.
Nigeria’s Beverly Osu and Melvin lost out of the chase for the money by the whiskers.
They were the first two to be eliminated on the closing day of the show.
