MK Dons will receive an extra £200,000 from Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur, if youngster Dele Alli makes his debut for England, according to reports.
The Sunday Mirror claims the bonus payment was included in the £5 million deal, which took the 19-year-old from Milton Keynes to North London.
Alli won a call-up to the national side after impressing manager Roy Hodgson by forcing his way into the Spurs team with a number of imposing performances.
This means he could now be set to make his England debut when they take on Lithuania and Estonia in the UEFA EURO 2016 qualifiers next week.
And even if it is coming on from the bench, Alli could be able to add funds to former boss Karl Robinson’s transfer budget to help the Dons fight for Championship survival.
He will also become the first Dons academy star to make his debut for England in the history of the club if Hodgson gives him some minutes.
