Conte resigns as Juventus coach

Juventus coach, Antonio Conte, has resigned from his position at the club after three successful seasons with the Bianconeri.
The news comes only one day after the club began their pre-season training in Vinovo, ahead of their defence of the Scudetto crown.
Reports have it that the two sides were unable to agree on what direction to take in the transfer market and over the next few years.
And with Conte’s contract expiring at the end of the season, the two sides have agreed to end the contract by mutual consent.
“It must be known that by mutual consent I have ended my contract with Juventus,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
“Over time this feeling has grown and I had some perceptions that led me to this decision.
“The national team? At this time I am thinking about the present and the decision I have made.
“I must say a sincere thanks, a big thanks to the fans and for what they have shown me as a coach and a player. They have always been close to me.
“What should make them proud is the path taken, we did some historic things.”
Former AC Milan coach, Massimiliano Allegri, and former Galatasaray boss, Roberto Mancini, are the favourites to replace the outbound Juve coach.
