World number 10 ranked table tennis star, Aruna Quadri, thrashed South Africa’s Shaun Jones in the opening game of the table tennis event at the ongoing Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The Nigerian star achieved this for Nigeria in the early hours of Friday in Birmingham.
Aruna out stroked his opponent by 11-6, 11-3, 12- 10 points to sail into the next stage of the preliminaries at the games.
