Breaking: Saraki again loses bid to stop his CCT trial

The embattled President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Thursday lost his request to halt his trial by the Code of Conduct Tribunal at the Court of Appeal Abuja.
Saraki is currently facing corruption trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja.
The trial is expected to continue on November 7.
‎The Justice Abdul Aboki-led panel of the Court of Appeal had on October 6 heard the appeal challenging the jurisdiction of the CCT and reserved for judgment.‎
The hearing notice for the judgment was served on parties to the appeal late on Wednesday.‎
Saraki had lost several cases in his bid to stop his trial by the CCT.
