The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Federal Capital Territory, Sunday Zakka, is dead.
According to information available to The Eagle Online, the Chairman died alongside his orderly and driver.
According to Authority Newspaper, they died in an auto crash.
The Secretary of the PDP in the FCT, Bako Angulu, confirmed the death to the Authority Newspaper on Saturday.
Angela told the newspaper that Zakka alongside his orderly and driver died in a ghastly motor accident off Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport-Kuje Road, Abuja on Friday night.
Zakka was on his way to his Kuje hometown in preparation for the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The FCT Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abdul-Malik Usman, in his condolence message described Zakka’s death as a great loss to the FCT.
Usman said Zakka was his personal friend and colleague.
