Leading British Sports agency, World Class Athletes Limited, has concluded plans to bring Nigeria’s best boxers, Segun Ajose and Larry Ekundayo, back to the country.
Ajose, a World Title Challenger and Ekundayo, who is the current undefeated African Champion, will be accompanied by Head of World Class Athletes, Ben Gray, and the boxers’ Special Advisor, Bimbo Folayan, Executive Director of the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit and former head of the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK.
On their return to the country, the boxers will hold a workout session with some Nigerian boxers and also donate boxing equipment to the Nigerian Olympic Team.
Both boxers will are also expected to be presented to the National Assembly on March 15.
The boxers, according to to World Class Athletes, plan to reignite the country’s passion for the sport, as they believe that Nigeria can rule the world with the adequate support.
