The Adamawa Police Command has announced the posting Ghazzali Mohammed as the new Commissioner of Police.
A statement signed by the command Public Relations Officer, DSP Othman Abubakar, said Mohammed, who replaced Gabriel Adaji, assumed office on Wednesday.
Mohammed, until his appointment, was in charge of election planning and monitoring at the Force Headwaters Abuja.
The statement said: “The new Commissioner solicits the cooperation of the general public and calls on them to be law abiding and confident in the security apparatus of the state in the course of his administration.
“He also wishes members of the public a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.”
