The Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Federal Polytechnic, Mubi Chapter, Mohammed Kabir, has been impeached.
The Chairman was removed on Monday afternoon as the Congress deliberated on the report of the state of the union and the allegation of high handedness levelled against him.
The report found Kabir guilty of all the allegations of gross misconduct levelled against him by some of the congress members.
The Chairman’s removal was endorsed by all members of the congress in a unanimous voice vote.
The motion for the Chairman’s impeachment was moved by Apampa Rilwan and seconded by Maxwell Happy.
