Fears griped dwellers of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in the earlier hours of Friday over rumours of the arrival of a carrier of the Ebola virus into the capital city.
According to message sent via the Blackberry Messenger service, a passenger, who tested positive to the Ebola virus, flew into Abuja on Thursdaynight via one of the country’s airlines.
Many have expressed fears over the development as there had been no denial or confirmation from official quarters.
In another BBM message, residents were urged to take their bath with hot water and salt to prevent infection.
This, as earlier reported by The Eagle Online, is not scientifically proven and is dangerous to the health.
