Super Eagles’ returnee and captain, Joseph Yobo, has been ruled out of Norwich City final Premier League clash against Arsenal at Carrow Road on Sunday.
Yobo however dispelled fears about his World Cup fitness after suffering from a calf injury which denied him a couple of games in the English Premiership.
The defender has been absent since the 1-0 home defeat to West Bromwich on April 5.
Yobo said: “I have been training with the full squad since last week.
“I was omitted from the squad announced last weekend for precautionary reasons.
“I will be fit for the national team.
“I am super fit and there is no cause for alarm.”
Yobo has made eight appearances for the Canaries since moving there on loan in January.
Norwich are currently tied on points with Sunderland but find themselves in the relegation zone on goal difference with two matches to play.
