A fire incident was on Monday reported at the popular Gregorian College, Ogidi by BORAC, before Tarzan Junction, Nkpor in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
This was contained in a statement by the spokesman of the Anambra State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed, on Monday morning.
Mohammed said police and other security agencies have cordoned off the area to prevent hoodlums from taking advantage to loot, while fire fighters are battling to put off the fire.
He said other emergency responders are also on ground evacuating people from the building.
He said the cause of the fire is yet unknown but effort is ongoing to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.
