While reeling out successes recorded in 2018, the Rector said there is the need for staff to rededicate themselves to the service of mankind by contributing their quota in uplifting the polytechnic.
According to him: “We made remarkable achievements last year.
“I am glad that we have remained one united big family throughout the year.
“As we approach another election, I urge all of you to continue to do your uttermost best in your official and professional calling at all times.
“Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru and its campuses will remain citadel of education and a reference point in the Country.
“Our outstanding achievements in year 2018 is the basis on which we shall continue in 2019 to make sure that the dreams of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello are translated in the education sector to reality.”
Dr. Egbako also commended the Council members, management, members of staff, students and stakeholders for keeping the flag of patriotism and excellence flying higher throughout the year, adding: “I remain committed and resolute in the task ahead of me”
In his own contribution, the image maker of the polytechnic, Mallam Hamzat Labaran Wushishi, said: “The determination, commitment and great personal conduct being exhibited by the Rector to bring smiles to the face of the Polytechnic and Community cannot be quantified.
“His efforts in re-enforcing confidence in Niger State Government are clear testimony that he is a man of history who is courageously responding to the challenges of purposeful leadership and the polytechnic is more better for it.
“I know the Student Union Government also anchors this view.”
