Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has returned to Marbella with trainer Ben Davison as they prepare for another potentially defining 12 months in the Gypsy King’s career.
Fury had been enjoying Christmas with his family following a gruelling 12-round battle with Deontay Wilder on December 1.
The former unified champion twice climbed off the canvas against WBC king Wilder in Los Angeles, with the fight ending in a controversial draw.
Now Fury is back in Marbella, with the two sides set to reopen negotiations over a lucrative rematch this month.
In a photo uploaded on Instagram, Fury was pictured alongside Davison and fellow boxers Joe McCann and Jono Carroll as he looks to build on an incredible 2018.
After two-and-a-half-years out of the ring, Fury returned to action last June against Sefer Seferi before continuing his comeback against Francesco Pianeta in August.
Despite the mediocre opposition, Fury then stepped up to face the devastating Wilder and out-foxed the unbeaten American for long periods in December.
He has now returned to Marbella, where his long journey back to the top of the heavyweight division began.
During his time away from the sport, Fury battled drink, drugs, depression and ballooned up to 28st.
It was in Spain that he and Davison embarked on their road to redemption and now Fury is back in the sun looking to kick on and fight the likes of Wilder and Anthony Joshua for all the heavyweight titles.
