Patience Okpe scored a team high 19 points and four rebounds as Dolphins maintained their unbeaten run in the Zenith Bank Female Basketball League with a 92-29 points victory over whipping girls in Group B, Coalcity Queens of Enugu.
With a commanding start from the jump ball, the 2014 league runners up led by double digits in each of the four quarters to send signals of their title ambitions this season.
Speaking after the match, leading scorer of the game, Okpe, said: “Our aspirations this season is to go a step further than we did last year which is getting the title.
“Our team is built on hard work and determination and we are taught to play without any inhibitions.”
