The management of the University of Maiduguri in Borno State said on Thursday that it would re-open for second semester of the 2014/2015 academic session onMarch 2.
The Chief Information Officer of the university, Malam Ahmed Mohammed, stated this in a statement he issued in Maiduguri.
Mohammed said in the statement: “This is to inform all students, parents, guardians and staff that the University of Maiduguri will re-open for the 2nd semester, 2014/2015 session on Monday March 2, 2015 as contained in the university’s calendar.
“Accordingly, lectures will resume on the same day while examinations for the will begin on June 22, 2015.”
The statement added that examinations will begin with Education, Law, GST, LLF 190 and English 101 courses.
