President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new members of the Management Team of the Federal Government of Nigeria Power Company Limited.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, unveiled the list of the new Management Team.
Ngelale, in a statement on Friday, said the new appointments were made by President Tinubu in recognition of the critical role of power supply in driving enterprise and industrial development.
He said it was also a part of comprehensive efforts to reform the power sector and ensure energy security for all Nigerians,

The new Management Team is made up of reappointed Kenny Osebi Anuwe, who will serve as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer; Professor Mamman Lawal, who was also reappointed, to serve as Company Secretary/Legal Advisor; Ebenezer Olawale Fapohunda as Chief Technical Officer; Babatunde Daramola Oniru, Chief Commercial Officer; while the Chief Financial Officer is Julius Oyekola Olabiyi.
Ngelale added in the statement: “The President anticipates that with the full constitution of the management team, the FGN Power Company Limited will work assiduously to realize the core objectives of the Presidential Power Initiative in close collaboration with Siemens Energy through a holistic overhaul, modernization, and expansion of the national grid and other critical measures to ensure the growth of the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry.”
