Ichita had sent the letter to Ikpeazu through a law firm, Adulbert Legal Services, led by his Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor.

Ichita, representing Aba South constituency, made the appeal in a statement issued in Umuahia Thursday and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Dr. Joseph Iloh, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Abia State, issued the certificates to the two candidates, Dr. Mike Ukoha and Dr. Obinna Ichita, at INEC office in Umuahia on Wednesday.
