The appointment of the new Controller followed a recent reshuffling of senior officers within the service across the country.

This was as President Bola Tinubu, approved the appointment of Nwakuche Sylvester Ndidi, as Acting Controller-General of the NCoS following the expiration of Nababa’s tenure.

According to a statement by the Kwara State Command of the NCoS, the Controller died suddenly in the early hours of Saturday.
