Communities in Plateau North Senatorial District have commended Senator Gyang Nyam Pwajok for delivering on projects that have direct impact on the lives of the people in his constituency.
The communities gave this commendation at the commissioning of projects executed by the senator in the six local government areas across his constituency.
Speaking at Angware, Jos East Local Government Area during the commissioning of one of the town halls sponsored by the senator, the Chairman of the Council, Brigadier General Ishaya Abok (retired), said the quality of jobs executed by Pwajok as part of his constituency projects is commendable.
Abok praised the senator for working tirelessly within a short period to bring development to his people.
He said: “Without fear of God and commitment on the part of the senator, projects like this will not have come on stream.”
The senior legislative assistant to the senator, Abe Aku, explained that the senator on assumption of office two and a half years ago was committed to providing key infrastructure to his constituency despite challenges, adding that it was in consonance with the redemption programme of the past administration in the state.
Aku further disclosed that Pwajok would go beyond erecting the town halls spread across key communities in the six local government areas, but will also meet with relevant stakeholders to set up a team that would manage the town halls.
peaking on behalf of Pwajok, Architect Yilji Gomwalk said the commendation received from the communities was an endorsement of the senator’s efforts in touching lives.
Gomwalk said: “It gladdens my heart that the senator’s efforts is being appreciated by the benefiting communities.”
He added that he was honoured to be given the privilege to commission the projects.
He said: “I am highly honoured to be part of this laudable achievements.
“I will forever remain grateful to the senator for the honour and privilege he gave me to commission this projects on his behalf.”
