Rangers FC Striker, Bobby Clement, on Saturday assured the teeming fans of the club of an impressive result in Makurdi when the Flying Antelopes lock horns with Lobi Stars FC.
Clement told newsmen in Enugu that although the encounter would be tough, he was confident that he and his co-players would be equal to the task.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Rangers International FC will be confronting Lobi Stars FC on Sunday at the Aper Aku, Stadium, Makurdi by 4pm.
The encounter is match-day 27 of the Nigerian Professional Football League which had entered its second stanza.
Clement said: “We, the players, have trained and prepared well for the Sunday’s game against Lobi Stars and what we requires now is to be focused and determined to achieve that feat.”
He assured the fans that nothing would stop them from replicating their feats against the likes of El-Kanemi, Niger Tornadoes, Akwa United and most recently FC Ifeanyiuba, when they confront Lobi Star FC.
Clement said: “I am also pleading for a fair officiating, home fans discipline and strict monitoring of the encounter by the League Management Company to avoid undue influence on the match officials.”
The top striker said the Rangers were poised to return to the summit of the NPFL league again.
He added: “We are ready to give all they have in order to achieve it.”
NAN recalls that the Rangers, who are the current NPFL Champions, had got five games unbeaten run of the club so far in this second stanza of the league.
