The Oyo State Police Command has arrested armed robbers terrorising students of the University of Ibadan, who reside in Agbowo area of the state capital.
This was disclosed by the Command’s Commissioner, Ngozi Onadeko, when she paraded the suspects in Ibadan.
According to Onadeko, the suspects: Hammed Babatunde popularly known as First Born; Abideen Olaide, alias Oloko; and Oladele Segun, were nabbed with guns and cartridges.
This was after they had during one of their raids shot dead a motorcyclist and one other resident of Agbowo, with several students injured.
