PDP wins Kebbe Constituency by-election in Sokoto

Abubakar Adamu of the Peoples Democratic Party has emerged winner of the by-election for Kebbe Constituency of Sokoto State House of Assembly.
The Sokoto State Independent Electoral Commission Head of Voter Education and Public Affairs, Muhammad Musa, said this while speaking with News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Sokoto.
Musa said seven candidates participated in the March 14 by-election.
He said Adamu scored 15,663 votes, while Abubakar Umaru of the All Progressives Congress polled 254 votes to emerge second.
He said Adamu Musa of the All Progressives Grand Alliance scored 63 votes, while Shehu Magaji of APP scored 15 votes.
