PDP State Congress: Three chairmen emerge in Ogun

Three parallel congresses were held by the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State on Tuesday, with each producing a State Chairman.
The State Congresses were spearheaded by the representative of Ogun East Senatorial District, Buruji Kashamu; the member representing Remo Constituency in the House of Representatives, Ladi Adebutu; and the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole.
While Kashamu’s group, which held its State Congress inside the state secretariat of the party produced Chief Bayo Dayo as chairman, the Adebutu faction at its congress in the amphitheatre of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library produced a two-time member of the Ogun State House of Assembly and former Chairman of Ifo Local Government Area, Sikirulahi Ogundele, as chairman.
The Bankole faction, which held its congress at Ake Palace Ground, had a former Commissioner in the former Governor Gbenga Daniel administration, Chief Wale Egunleti, emerge as its state chairman.
