Osaze sets to break Stoke City record

In-form Nigerian striker, Osaze Odemwingie has set his sight on ending the season with a bang by setting a Britannia Stadium record.
Mark Hughes’ Potters head into the final fortnight looking to claim their highest Premier League points total, best top flight finish in 39 years and first top Midlands club title.
Odemwingie is ready to seize the moment and that means seeing off Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday before Fulham come to town for the final home match on May 3.
He said: “There is a lot on the games still. I’m pleased the next two are at home because we’re chasing that ninth position, and you never know, maybe eighth too.
“We have to look at other results for that, but our main focus is our own job, doing our part of the deal.
“Our form at home has been fantastic and we have shown there is no relaxation at all. This is the game to show how much we want to finish in the top half.
“Hopefully our home run can continue and we can finish the season with every fan being able to say our record at the Brit is excellent, the best.”
Spurs have already sold out their 2,900-ticket allocation and City, who recorded their biggest gate of the season in their last home match, are expecting another bumper crowd.
Odemwingie said: “The stadium will be rocking. Our fans have been playing a big role in how we have been performing. They were fantastic at Cardiff.
“Even after the game they were hanging around singing and you feel like you’re doing well when you see your fans happy. Hopefully we can keep it that way.
“There will be goals because Spurs attack and play open football. They need points because they are chasing the teams above them so it will be an interesting game.”
