Multi-talented gospel wizkid, Elizabeth Ayomide-Babalola, better known as Lizzy, is on the verge of showcasing her exploit in the Nigerian entertainment industry and beyond.
Lizzy, who started her music career like a child’s play from five and desirous of making life and name out of it, has already produced an educative video and a gospel single when she turned eight.
The instrumentalist and singer is presently a major discourse in the industry as her stage performances and her musical prowess has endeared her to many and several showbiz gurus around the world.
Born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ayomide-Babalola June 3, 2003, Lizzy at a very tender age started showing potentials in music.
And on discovery of this talent by her parents, she has since been encouraged by her mum.
Lizzy has impacted various homes and schools through edu-tainment in her music.
She and her band moved on to positively impacting the young and the old in the house of God through Gospel Music with a proficiency in Praise and Worship.
It was thus not surprising she went into the studio at eight and produced another wonderful Gospel album: “Victory Dance,” which was released in 2012.
The video hit the market last year.
That is not all: Babalola has a 16-member band known has the Galactic Praise team, consisting of back up singers and various instrumentalists.
She goes for ministrations and performances with her band members who are all adults and professional musicians.
Her music career has taken her outside the shores of Nigeria, performing with notable Nigerian gospel singer such as Yinka Ayefele, Esther Igbekele, Mega 99, Evangelist Bola Are among others, who all confirmed the burning and budding talent in her.
Lizzy, in a chat with The Eagle Online, said she sees music as a special assignment and since she really enjoys it, it does not affect her studies.
According to her: “I do my assignments on time and most of my musical engagements are during the holidays or at weekends.”
Her educationist parents also ensure that the music aspect doesn’t affect her academics and this is evident in her academic results.
On her choice of gospel brand of music, Lizzy added that she has always been a God fearing girl and loves praising God from at tender age.
She said this was the reason she delved into gospel music.
