Super Eagles midfielder, Ejike Uzoenyi, on Friday said his late invitation to join the 23-man list of players to Brazil was a miracle.
Uzoenyi noted that his invitation came when he was still nursing his wound over the disappointment of being dropped.
The Rangers player, who is South Africa-bound, was called in as a replacement to injured Elderson Echiejile, shortly after the last friendly encounter with the USA.
Uzoenyi said he was focused on the Wold Cup now that he was lucky enough to have made the team eventually.
He said: “I don’t want to continue taking about how I felt when I was dropped.
“Of course, I felt terrible but that is behind me now since am now in Brazil in a miraculous way.”
