Lion escapes from Imo zoo

‎A lion has escaped from the Zoo in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
A statement by the Imo State Police Command said the animal escaped on Monday night.
The statement advised the public to be careful as they move around.
It said the police command and the management of the zoo were doing their best to track the lion.
The zoo is located along Old Nekede Road in Owerri.
