A Nigerian lawyer caused a stir at the Supreme Court on Thursday (today) when he attended proceedings in his traditional worshipper’s regalia.
According to him, he decided to dress that way following the judgment of the Supreme Court delivered on June 17.
The judgment allows Nigerians to express their mode of worship, which includes the use of hijab in schools and public places.
The lawyer tied a red wrapper on black jacket and white shirts.
He also rubbed a white chalk-like substance round his left eye and a beaded calabash tied with a red rope on his neck.
