Lagos announces partial closure of Costain Roundabout, lists alternative routes

The Lagos State Government has announced the partial closure of Costain Roundabout effective October 3, 2019.
The closure, which will be inwards Funsho Williams Avenue, will last until December 3, 2019 to facilitate the completion of the ongoing construction of the bridge.
A statement to this effect, then advised users of the road:
(1a)Motorists coming from FUNSHO WILLIAMS AVENUE to APAPA ROAD, IGANMU ROAD/APAPA: can make use of Alaka to Eric Moore to Abebe Village (Nigerian Breweries) and continue their journey
(1b) From Funsho Williams Avenue to Lagos Island: use Eko Bridge to connect Ijora Olopa or Apongbon
(1c) From Orile to Lagos: use Iganmu Road to connect Eko Bridge through Costain.
(2)While motorists coming from the Lagos Island that have no business in Costain and its environs can make use of EKO BRIDGE to Funsho Williams Avenue.
However, for those motorists that want to make use of Costain Roundabout Alaka, Ebute Metta:
(a) can make use of APAPA ROAD to ABULE NLA ROAD to connect FUNSHO WILLIAMS AVENUE by LEADWAY ASSURANCE BUILDING and  continue their journey while those going to Ebute  Metta make use of Apapa Road to connect Oyingbo and continue their journey
OR
Take Iddo to Oyingbo to connect Ebute Meta.
From Lagos Island to Iganmu Road, Orile, Apapa: Motorists can make use of Costain to connect Iganmu and continue their respectively.
