Stand-in Super Eagles’ gaffer, Stephen Keshi, is on the verge of signing a new deal with the Nigeria Football Federation.
The Big Boss will now be earning N7 million per month, which will be N84 million per year.
The contract that will elapse at the end of 2015.
The AFCON 2013 winning coach’s last contract with the NFF, which ended after the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament, was at N5 million per month.
It would recalled that contract talks got stalled as the coach reportedly insisted ona N10 million monthly salary.
But with the turn of events of late, and also the intervention of government, which saw Keshi brought back after he was dismissed in October, a truce seems to have been reached.
