Iwobi, Akpom set for Doncaster test 

Nigerian duo, Alex Iwobi Both players were in the mix at London Colney on Tuesday as the Gunners perfect strategies ahead of Wednesday’s clash.

and Chuba Akpom, are likely to make the starting line up as Arsenal battle Doncaster Rover in Carabao Cup third-round clash on Wednesday.

Akpom was on the books of the Emirates outfit for 13 straight years before Sanchez was acquired from Barcelona in 2014, and he has enjoyed a cordial relationship with the Chilean in the last three years.

Akpom tweeted: ”Always learning from my amigo!”

Akpom has featured against Liverpool, Manchester United and Leicester City in Premier League 2 in a bid to maintain his match fitness.

Akpom’s compatriot, Iwobi, was also largely involved in the training session.
