Injury rocks Zambia, two players out of tie against Nigeria

Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa striker, Lewis Macha, and Zesco United star, Clatous Chama, have been ruled out of this weekend’s World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
Macha failed to recover from an injury he sustained before Zambia’s game against Kenya last month, while Chama broke his legs while playing for Zesco United against Konkola Blades.
In a swift reaction, the Zambia Football Association has summoned Israeli-based striker, Rogers Kola, as a replacement for Macha
The Hapoel Ra’anana striker is staging a return to the national team after two years.
Kola is a member of the Zambia U20 class of 2007, which played at the Junior World Cup in Canada and has been domiciled in Europe since 2009 when he moved to Israel.
He will compete for a starting position with Collins Mbesuma, Winstone Kalengo and Jackson Mwanza for the Sunday game.
Misheck Chaila has also rejoined the team in Ndola, two days after he was released from camp along with 10 other players.
Chaila, who scored the equaliser in Zesco United’s 2-1 win over Konkola Blades on Sunday, trained with the rest of the squad at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Monday.
Our source in Zambia disclosed that Chaila was recalled as a standby player owing to an injury Chama.
Stopilla Sunzu joins camp on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Kaseko further stated that Coach Wedson Nyirenda will trim his squad for Nigeria on Thursday.
