A housewife, Fatima Onozare on Thursday, approached an Upper Area Court, Kubwa for the dissolution of her 15-year-old marriage to her husband, Zubairu Amoka over alleged abandonment and lack of love.
The petitioner told the court that she got married to Amoka under Islamic law in 2009.
The marriage was blessed with three children.
She said Amoka abandoned her eight years ago and all efforts made to make him take his responsibilities proved abortive.
The petitioner prayed to the court to dissolve the marriage on the grounds of abandonment.
Amoka was not in court and did not send a representative.
