Former Super Falcons’ playmaker, Maureen Mmadu, has launched her drink line, WATT Energy drink.
The drink, according to the retired footballer, would hit the Nigerian market soon.
Mmadu said: “It’s being a dream that I’ve been nursing for a while, and I thank God that today everything is set for the launch of the product.
“I have gone through the process of registering the company with the Corporate Affairs Commission and was issued a certificate of incorporation.
“Modalities have been dealt with, all processing papers have been sent to NAFDAC for approval, and all that is left is for them to issue us the NAFDAC number and in no time it would be in Nigeria.”
Mmadu added that the product is in six flavours: Watt Light for people with diabetics, Isotonic, for after training, Sporty in red and black can, Cherry flavour and Apple pear.
The Centenary player’s passion for quality made her create her own line of Energy drinks, which is said to be in gold, red, black, green, pink and white cans.
