Despite entering National Assembly, Natasha barred from Senate plenary

Despite entering the premises of the National Assembly, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was on Tuesday stopped from attending the plenary of the Senate.

The Eagle Online recalls that Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended for six months by the Senatre over her decision to ignore sitting arrangements.

The representative of Kogi Central Senatorial District was accompanied into the premises of the National Assembly by activist Aisha Yesufu on foot.

This was as her vehicle was blocked by security agencies attached to the National Assembly.

She then stepped out of the vehicle and walked into the premises of the National Assembly.

When the plenary session of the Senate began, Akpoti-Uduagh unable to gain access into the chamber.

As at the time of filling this report, the embattled Senator has still not been able to gain access into the chamber.
