May & Baker Nigeria Plc has donated different gift items to the Heritage Homes and Orphanage for the upkeep of the children in the home.
The National Sales Manager, May & Baker Nigeria Plc, Charles Okafor, who presented the items Tuesday in Lagos, said that the gesture was aimed at improving the welfare of the orphanage.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the donated gift items includes packs of bottled water, noodles, vegetable oil, rice and snacks.
Okafor said the donation was part of the series of corporate social responsibility activities of the company across the state to mark her 78th anniversary.
He appreciated the management team of the orphanage for the love and care being demonstrated in the home for motherless babies.
According to him, the company is committed to giving back to society to improve quality of life and positively touch the lives of the less privileged.
“In a bid to give back to society, May & Baker Nigeria Plc hosted a series of corporate social responsibility activities across the state to mark her 78th anniversary, with activities that kicked off in selected charity homes within the community.
“The company’s mission -To improve the quality of life; throughout life; for all lives’, remains undauting, and reflects in the steadfastness of its commitment to corporate social responsibilities,” Okafor said.
Reuben Amara, while receiving the donation on behalf of the Board and Management of Heritage Homes & Orphanage, thanked the company for the gesture and its steadfast donation toward the upkeep of the children in the home.
Amara also congratulated the May & Baker team on the company’s 78th anniversary.
