The Presidency has denied the list of ministers and their portfolios that found its way into the social media over the weekend.
The list, which had all the names of ministers and portfolios beside them, was said to have emanated from the Presidency and approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, said the list did not emanate from the Presidency.
Adesina said Buhari was yet to assign portfolios to the incoming ministers.
The usual practice is to announce the portfolios of ministers after their inauguration.
Ahead of the swearing in of the ministerial nominees following their successful screening and confirmation by the senate last week, the Presidency has denied releasing any list that assigned portfolios to them.
Adesina said: “Any communication from the Presidency must be officially singed.
“Was that list signed by me or Mr. Garba Shehu?
