Bauchi Police arrests three suspected kidnappers

The Bauchi State Police Command said on Sunday it arrested four suspected kidnappers who abducted two teenagers in Bauchi metropolis.
A statement by the command’s spokesman, DSP Haruna Mohammed, named the suspects as Abubakar Mohammed, 27, from Jos, Plateau State; Sanusi Inuwa, 40, Wuntin Gobirawa village, Bauchi State; and Danlami Abdullahi, 45, also of Wuntin Gobirawa.
Mohammed said the suspects were arrested on Sunday by Police detectives attached to Bauchi State Special Anti-Robbery Squad, led by Inspector Thomas Kwabika, following intelligence report.
He said that the suspects conspired and kidnapped two children, Yunusa Hussaini, 8, and Dare Yakubu, 7, both of Dungal village, Bauchi State.
Mohammed said the suspects demanded N500,000 from the parents of the victims.
He said the police rescued the victims and handed them over to their parents in good condition.
Mohammed said one Dane gun and N66,000 were recovered from the suspects who would be charged to court after investigations.
