The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 25, 2023 election in Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has hailed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over her declaration by the Court of Appeal as the winner of Kogi Central Senatorial District election.
The former Vice President spoke on his X handle following the nullification of the election of Abubakar Ohere.
The Court of Appeal had on Tuesday nullified Ohere’s declaration as the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
He was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the poll.

Writing on his X handle on Wednesday, Abubakar described Akpoti-Uduaghan as an example of a courageous woman in politics.
He said: “Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is an excellent example of a woman in politics.
“She is bold and courageous.
“Her hard fight to reclaim her seat in the Senate tells of her remarkable character.
“Congratulations to you, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
“I also join your constituents to look forward to your robust engagements on the floor of the @NGRSenate.”
